Classes

Which type of yoga is right for me?

There are many styles of Yoga, some so rigid and physically taxing that you have to be an athlete to participate. That's wonderful for those with the capacity, but at Yoga Compass, yoga is about focus, self improvement and inner strength. The yoga we share is expressly designed to for all bodies and minds. It is important we understand our uniqueness and what that means for our yoga practice. We must also remember that our body is different from day to day, week to week, so our practice needs to be accommodating and agile to our needs on any day.

With any practice you join, make sure you ask yourself  "What do I need today?" and let your teacher know so your practice truly serves you.
